About this flight
I flew from New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport to Haneda on ANA Business Class.
At JFK Airport, I used the British Airways First Class Lounge. At the entrance, ANA staff kindly handed out complimentary bread and rice balls from a Japanese bakery in New York — a thoughtful gesture to bring comfort to Japanese travelers returning home, whether on business trips or assignments abroad with their families.
In the lounge, I enjoyed two types of premium champagne and red wine, accompanied by cheese and a seafood salad.
The in-flight meals were all delicious, made with carefully selected ingredients.

British Airways Lounge
This is the entrance to the British Airways (BA) lounge. On the left, ANA staff were greeting passengers — checking boarding passes and handing out Japanese bread and rice balls to Japanese travelers.
The bread was from *Zaiya*, a Japanese bakery in New York. It was a thoughtful gesture, offering a taste of Japan to expatriates, business travelers, and their families returning home.
Fruit Section
I entered the BA First Class Lounge. This is the fruit section, which also offers fruit-based juices.
The presentation is elegant — with the fruits carefully arranged and plum-like flowers used as decoration, giving the area a refined touch.

Wine Dispenser
This is the wine section.
It features a dispenser — simply place your glass under the spout, press the button for the wine you want, and it pours automatically. You often see this kind of system in the U.S., and some hotels in Japan have adopted it as well.

Veuve Clicquot champagne.

There must be plenty of American wines available as well.
