About this flight
From the airport in Malé, the capital of the Maldives, I was finally headed to the island where the resort hotel is located.
I was filled with excitement and anticipation!
The plane to the island was a seaplane equipped with floats, so it doesn’t use a runway.
It takes off directly from the sea and, during the short flight, you can enjoy stunning aerial views of several resort islands before gently landing on the water near the pier of your destination.

This was taken through the bus window while traveling to the boarding gate.
Since the passenger terminal for large aircraft is quite far from the terminal for small planes heading to the islands, a bus transfer is necessary.
Boarding Pass

This is my boarding pass.
It also says, “Please keep this boarding pass carefully as it also serves as a claim tag for your checked baggage.”
Airport Lounge

This is the lounge located in the small aircraft passenger terminal for flights to the Maldivian islands.
There’s a food corner where you can enjoy light snacks and drinks. Although alcoholic beverages are not available, soft drinks and light meals are provided.
