About this flight
This is ANA Business Class from Haneda to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
At Haneda Airport, I used the ANA Suite Lounge. At that time, the Suite Lounge offered a full-course restaurant service called “Dining h,” where I enjoyed truly delicious dishes.
The aircraft was a Boeing 787. The Business Class seats were the “staggered” type, allowing direct aisle access from every seat, and both the seat and side table were spacious and comfortable.
Onboard, I had takoyaki as a late-night snack, and for the pre-arrival breakfast I enjoyed my favorite eggs Benedict.

Appetizer
Inside the ANA Suite Lounge—available only to Diamond members, ANA’s top-tier frequent flyers, and First Class passengers—there is a full-course restaurant service called “Dining h,” open only in the evening. It is designed so that passengers on late-night flights can enjoy a proper meal before departure and then rest immediately after boarding.
The appetizer was served first: steamed cauliflower and broccoli, grilled chicken meatball, cherry tomatoes, yuba (tofu skin), and more.
Main Dish
The main dish was a Wagyu beef steak. You can enjoy it with either sauce or salt.
The side vegetables appear to be red and yellow bell peppers, lotus root, and watercress.
Pasta Dish
This dish was also exceptional.
- • A Chinese-style shrimp chili sauce, I believe
- • Spaghetti
- • Boiled broccoli
Dessert
Dessert after the meal.
- • Truffle chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream
Dessert and Snacks
Dessert and snacks.
- • A simmered vegetable dish—likely leeks, turnips, onions, carrots, etc.
- • Strawberry cream éclair, yomogi mochi, and more
- • Ichiroku Tart — a famous confection from Ehime

Here is the side table. A headset is placed on top, and near the magazine rack you’ll find a reading light and power outlet.
Safety Demonstration Video
This is the screen in front of the seat. At the time, ANA used a Kabuki-themed safety demonstration video. It was discontinued during the pandemic and replaced with the standard version.
