About this flight
I flew in March 2020, taking JAL’s Economy Class from Narita to Moscow Domodedovo International Airport. At that time, the COVID-19 pandemic had already begun, but international travel restrictions had not yet fully taken effect—it was just at the last possible moment for overseas trips.
In the Moscow area, besides Domodedovo International Airport, there are two other international airports: Sheremetyevo, the hub of Aeroflot, and Vnukovo, the oldest airport in Moscow. JAL operates direct flights to Domodedovo International Airport.
The cabin was not very crowded. Despite being Economy Class, the inflight meals were impressive: after takeoff, a Japanese meal featuring minced chicken rice and even sakuramochi for dessert, and before arrival, French toast was served.
