As a JAL Diamond member, I was able to use Cathay Pacific's first-class lounge “The Pier,” which is part of the oneworld alliance. I had two glasses of champagne in the first-class lounge and was feeling quite cheerful.

The Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge, based in Hong Kong, is located on the 6th floor of Terminal 1.

Food and Champagne

At the lounge, I enjoyed some additional champagne and appetizer-style food.

Dessert

Dessert included five types of macarons and a white chocolate cake.

Premium Economy

This is a Premium Economy seat. Amenities are placed on the seat.

There’s only a partition for the head area between seats, but it's still better than nothing.
