About this flight

On August 2, 2019, ANA introduced its latest First Class seat, **THE SUITE**, on the Boeing 777-300ER, operating it for the first time on the London route. I booked this flight specifically to experience the inaugural service of this aircraft. Each seat is a private suite equipped with a door, and the stylish design was supervised by architect Kengo Kuma.

For the in-flight meal, I enjoyed an exquisite Western full-course dinner after takeoff, with Wagyu steak as the main dish. Before landing, breakfast was served in an omakase-style presentation with four different dishes.

This photo shows the cabin after the lights were dimmed, highlighting the screen and the soft wall lighting to the left of the screen.

The lighting on the side is indirect, not too bright, and gives a thoughtful, refined touch to the cabin atmosphere.

Window Blind Control Buttons

The blue-lit buttons below the window are used to raise and lower the window blinds. They look very stylish.

The controller in the foreground is used for seat reclining adjustments and screen operation.

Mirror

Opening the small compartment door on the wall next to the seat reveals a mirror. This is convenient, especially for female passengers, as they can touch up their makeup while seated.

Height of the Seat Door

シートの扉の高さ

The door on the aisle side is tall enough that when the seat is fully reclined into bed mode, the open space at the top is barely noticeable.

The level of privacy is excellent.
