About this flight
I took ANA’s business class from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport to Haneda.
At John F. Kennedy Airport, I used the British Airways First Class Lounge, which shares Terminal 7 with ANA, and enjoyed champagne along with a generous serving of garlic sautéed shrimp.
Onboard, I relaxed in the spacious business class seat and enjoyed ANA’s characteristically delicate meals. The first meal after takeoff was a light snack, and the second was a full-course Western meal. Along with the main steak dish, I was also offered — and happily accepted — the Japanese main course of rice and simmered fish.

To the Lounge
ANA business class passengers can use this British Airways (BA) lounge. This is the escalator leading to its entrance.
Since November 2022, BA has moved to Terminal 8, so you can no longer see their lounge in Terminal 7.
One curious thing is that British Airways, a member of OneWorld, was partnered with ANA, a Star Alliance member, only here in New York.
