About this flight
I took JAL’s First Class from Haneda to Osaka Itami.
As expected, First Class offers spacious seats and excellent in-flight meals. On this flight, I enjoyed a Japanese-style meal.

I was seated in the front row of First Class, so there was a partition panel in front of my seat.

Arrival at Itami Airport
Arrived at Itami Airport.
Limousine Bus Ticket
I took the limousine bus to Nara.
From Itami, access to the Nara area is surprisingly convenient within the Kansai region.
Premium Check-in Counter
This is the Premium Check-in Counter on the ANA side of Itami Airport. It is exclusively for Premium Class, SFC (Super Flyers), and Star Alliance Gold members.
Two JAL Aircraft
This is the view from the Itami Airport observation deck. In the foreground is a JAL Boeing 767, and in the midground is a JAL Boeing 777. You can clearly see the difference in size and engine placement.
ANA Boeing 767
This is the cockpit area of an ANA Boeing 767. The Star Alliance logo with the star mark is clearly visible.
Towing Tractor
This shows a towing tractor pushing back an ANA aircraft.
The seamless coordination between the maintenance staff and ground crew at this moment is truly a delight for aviation enthusiasts.
Medium-sized Aircraft of JAL and ANA
This is a panoramic view of the aircraft parking layout at Itami Airport.
The sight of JAL and ANA’s medium-sized aircraft parked side by side is typical of this urban airport, where takeoff and landing slots are limited.
International Transfer Counter
At this time, there were no eligible flights, so the international transfer counter was marked “CLOSE.” For passengers holding through-tickets that include international flights, this is where through check-in procedures (such as issuing international boarding passes and baggage tags) can be completed.
